Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it changed or deleted.

Who we are
This website is run by Isabelle Gainey, a licensed real estate agent affiliated with Compass Florida, LLC d/b/a Compass. "We" and "us" on this page mean Isabelle. What we collect, and why
When you send a message. The contact and listing forms collect your name, email address, and, if you give them, your phone number, what you need help with, how you found the site, your message, the listing you asked about and, on the home valuation form, the property address. It is emailed to Isabelle so she can reply, and the site keeps a contact record for her (your name, email, phone, where the enquiry came from, and the details above) so she can follow up.
When you save a search or follow a home without an account. Your email address, your name if you give it, the search or home, how often you want emails, and when you confirmed. Alerts start only after you confirm by email.
When you create an account. Your email address, your name if you give it, and your password, which is stored only as a one-way scrambled hash that cannot be turned back into the password. Your saved homes and saved searches are linked to your account once you confirm your email.
Automatically. Like any website, the servers that host it see your IP address and browser details when you visit. We keep a record of searches, listing views, saves and enquiries for 400 days, because the MLS rules require it, with your IP address stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form. We also keep short-lived security records, such as failed sign-in attempts (one day) and a count of emails sent to each address (35 days, hashed), to stop abuse.
Page counts. To see which pages are useful, each page view records the page address, the name of the website that linked to it (for example google.com), and a visitor code made by scrambling your IP address and browser details together with the date, so it changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. No cookie is set and nothing is shared with anyone. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is recorded.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies, both needed for it to work and neither used for tracking or advertising:
- isg_sid keeps you signed in to your account for up to 30 days. It is set only when you sign in and removed when you sign out.
- isg_csrf protects the sign-in and account forms against forged submissions from other websites. It lasts one day.
Texts and calls
Sending a message does not sign you up for texts. Isabelle will call or text you about your enquiry only if you tick the optional box on the form that says so. We record that you ticked it, when, and the wording you agreed to. Reply STOP to any text to stop them. Message and data rates may apply.
Emails
If you save a search or follow a home, you get alert emails only when something changes. Every alert email has a link to change your alerts and a link to unsubscribe from all of them. Account emails (confirming your email, resetting your password, an invitation from Isabelle) are sent only when needed for the account.
Who sees it
Isabelle sees what you send and what you save. We share it with no one else except these service providers, which process it only to run the site:
- Netlify hosts the site and its database, where accounts, saved homes and saved searches are stored.
- Resend sends the site's emails, so it handles your email address and the content of those emails.
Some parts of each page load straight from other services, which see your IP address and browser details the way any website does: fonts from Google Fonts, photographs from Unsplash, listing photos from the MLS photo service, and, on area pages, the map from OpenStreetMap or CARTO with its code from cdnjs (Cloudflare). Listing information comes from BeachesMLS through the FBS Spark platform; we do not send them your personal information.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Saved searches, followed homes and accounts are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Enquiries and contact records are kept as Isabelle's business records until you ask us to delete them. Page counts are kept for 400 days. The activity record is kept for 400 days, sign-in sessions for up to 30 days, and the other security records as described above.
Your choices
You can change or remove saved searches and saved homes at any time, from My homes if you have an account or from the link in any alert email. To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, including your whole account, call (954) 258-1131 or email isabelle@isabellegainey.com. We will do it within 30 days.
Security
The site uses HTTPS throughout. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, sign-in links expire and work once, and sign-in attempts are rate limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use elsewhere.
Children
This site is for adults buying, selling or renting property. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and the date at the top.
