Isabelle Gainey is a Florida native and a Gator alum of the University of Florida, from a family of serial entrepreneurs and real estate agents. She sells across Fort Lauderdale and Broward County, and her focus is vacation properties, second homes and short-term rentals.
That focus is not a marketing line. Buying a house you intend to rent is a different transaction from buying one you intend to live in: the questions are about zoning, association minimum stays, registration, licensing and insurance, and they have to be answered at a specific address before the inspection period closes. Most of the value she adds is in that window.
She co-founded Holdfast Holdings LLC, a Fort Lauderdale short-term rental management company, and is the agent it refers acquisition work to. Working on the operating side is why she can tell you what a property will actually do, rather than what a spreadsheet says it should.
Most of her clients arrive by referral from earlier ones. She works under Compass, which gives her clients access to the brokerage's marketing, tools and reach in the markets that matter here.
